VinWonders Nha Trang is an entertainment complex on Hon Tre island, across the bay from the city.
It bundles several parks into one ticket: a water park with slides and a wave pool, an outdoor amusement park with roller coasters, an aquarium, landscaped gardens and a private beach. The scale is built for a full day rather than a couple of hours.
Two ways across: the over-sea cable car of more than three kilometres from Cau Da, or a speedboat from the pier. For many people the cable car itself — suspended over the bay, looking down on fishing boats and floating farms — is half the value of the trip.
A few practicalities. Arrive early to get ahead of the queues on the headline rides, and bring your own swimwear for the water park, since hiring on site costs more. The midday heat is the hour for the aquarium and the indoor sections.
On price: it moves with season and promotion, and the figures quoted around the internet vary wildly. Check the official channel before you travel rather than trusting a number you read somewhere — this is the single largest line in most Nha Trang budgets.
